Greetings from Kokomo, Indiana!
After our first month in Manila, I’m already back in the U.S. to attend training in Louisville, for all of the regional mission personnel. (Remember: my new position is Regional Facilitator for Addressing Migration and Human Trafficking). I’ll be here until Thursday, May 5. Meanwhile, Juan and Aurélie are still in the Philippines.
The heat is on, both in terms of weather and politics--- in the run-up to the Presidential elections on Monday, May 9.
In case you’re in the area--- or know someone else who might be interested in learning about God’s mission in the Philippines and southeast Asia: This weekend, I’m headed east to be with the National Capital Presbyterian Women and Darnestown (MD) Presbyterian Church. The following week, I’ll be at the Presbyterian Center in Louisville. Finally, I’ll be rounding out my travels at Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, MN and visiting two more congregations in North Central Iowa, First Presbyterian Churches of Waterloo and Cedar Falls.
A few things worth mentioning:
Going forward, I invite you to sign up to receive instant updates in your email inbox.

If you wish to send something to her, the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo has GRACIOUSLY OFFERED to collect these SIMPLE GIFTS for her. And thank you for thinking of her!
Email me, and I’ll share that address with you.
In the meantime, thank you again for your support of us during this faith adventure to the Philippines. We appreciate your prayers and financial gifts.
Grace and peace,
