We believe that we are on a faith journey which enables us to grow into a more loving and faithful community.
- We develop spiritually by intentionally sharing our diverse beliefs.
- We grow spiritually through community worship, music, small groups and service to others.
We believe in God’s commandment to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- We show our love by caring for and supporting one another within our community.
- We care for our neighbors in the local community and around the world through hands-on involvement, and by sharing our financial resources.
We believe God created a diverse world for a reason and wants us to nurture, care for, and cultivate it.
- We believe God created all people as good, and asks us to share responsibility for the weak, the poor, the sick, the oppressed, and all who suffer.
- We honor God’s world and treasure all creation.
Welcome, Friends!At Northminster you will find an inclusive and hospitable group of people who are interested in you just as you are. Because God first loved us, we love others. We come together on Sundays to worship a God who loves us as we are. Because of God’s life-transforming grace in Jesus Christ, we want to praise God and help others. We all are in a different place in our faith journey and we respect that, so no one here will tell you what you should do or believe. We hope that you will discover what God is calling you to do and then share yourself with us when you feel it is appropriate. Some of our strengths are:
