The Women’s Lunch is a time for the women of the church to meet up for the simple joy of being together. When the weather is warm, the group gathers outside by the gazebo with bag lunches and seating. In the colder months they meet at Crumpets in Somerset Inn. No reservations required.

The Northminster Book Group has been meeting monthly for over 30 years and continues to meet online via Zoom. Books are chosen for the year in April/May from a proposed list created by members of the group. The group strives to read a variety of books by writers of various countries and settings around the world. Selections include classics, new books, prize-winning books, and books that just sound good. Jump in and join the conversation. ​

Music can be medicine for the soul.  Join the
Northminster handbell choir to come together and make music in this uncertain time.  Prior handbell experience not required.

Grace in Aging

Grace in Aging began in 2016, when a group of older members expressed interest in gathering to discuss books offering various spiritual perspectives on the aging process and end of life. The group takes its name from the title of the first book they read, a book by a Buddhist author.  Over the past five years, the group has read books from Christian, Buddhist, and Jewish perspectives and had some lively, meaningful discussions as well as good fellowship.

The best way to learn about the Bible is to read it slowly and ask a lot of questions. This group aims to do just that.  No extra books needed: just thoughtfully read the passage for the week and bring your thoughts and questions.
